TRW Cassette 5: Side A

Hello everyone,

today I will summarize the cassette 5: side A.


Cassette 5: side A is addressed to the ninth person on Hannah's list - Clay Jensen.
He meets Tony after he leaves Rosie`s. So, Tony, who knows something about Hannah´s cassettes, tells Clay to get in his car. Clay listens to the cassette mentioned. Hannah says that she wanted to get to know Clay better, because nobody ever said anything bad about him. He is a part of her list but not in the same way as the others. Because Clay is a `positive` reason. The central event of the tape is the night of the party.
Hannah comes to the party because of Clay. She would like to talk to him only once. Finally, at the party she finds Clay and there they speak to each other. After a while they start kissing. First it feels good, says Hannah, but during the kiss she start thinking about Justin. Hannah says to Clay that he should stop kissing her and asks him to leave the room. Ever since this party they don´t speak to each other.

TRW Cassette 3: Side B & Cassette 4: Side A

Hey everyone,

my fourth entry deals with the cassettes 3B and 4A.
I want to write a letter to Zach on which I comment his action.
The letter is written Clay´s point of view.


Dear Zach!

I think that you have never heard  something about privacy, right?
You read and as that was not enough, you hide the encouragement notes for Hannah. From the start I did not like your character but that you read and stole them... I am dissapointed of you. I mean, just imagine that someone would have done this to you. How would you have felt in Hannah's place?

Finally I think that you never understand this. But, please, think about that. Of course, now you can´t change what has happend in the past.
But for the future it will be important to remember that your actions do have consequences.

TRW Cassette 2: Side B

Hey everyone,


this entry deals with cassette 2: side B. So I want to comment on Tyler´s behaviour. Moreover I would like to say something to him.

First I want to say that the action of Tyler makes me speechless.
In my opinion he is a disrespectful and uneducated boy toward Hannah, because he stalked her and took photos while she changed her clothes. Tyler showed no consideration for her feelings and injured Hannah´s privacy.
I don´t understand why he did this to Hannah. What did she do to him?
And what was his aim? I mean it was a big mistake of him. Hannah didn´t deserve that.Think about it Tyler but you never find answers to all these questions....

TRW Cassette 2: Side A

Hey everyone,

so today I will tell you about my feelings and my impressions while I am reading the cassette 2: Side A.


First I was glad for Hannah, that she finally found a friend. Her name is Jessica. I think, that they had fun together but because of Alex their friendship was destroyed. After Hannah and Jessica met him, he made a WHO'S HOT/WHO'S NOT list. Hannah was on the HOT side and Jessica on NOT. She showed this to Hannah. I guess, that Jessica was jealous of Hannah and she believed what Justin said about Hannah.
My opinion about Hannah's feelings are that she was disappointed with Jessica and her heart was broken.

TRW Cassette 1: Side B

Hey everyone,

In the next time I will write some blog entries about the novel
"Thirteen reasons why" by Jay Asher.

First I would like to start with the cassette 1: side B and tell you my point of view with regard to Hannah's behaviour.

I can understand her anger, because of Alex's list people began to treat Hannah badly. They cared her only for her ass. 
Moreover, I think that they reduced Hannah only on her physical appearance but she did not want. And I guess that everybody had a wrong image of her,too. Because on the previous  chassette she told us about Justin who told everybody that she was a slut.

Finally I can say that Hannah is allowed to talk on the cassette about Alex and Justin, because they said bad things about her which were wrong.
